Merle, Of course you can delete things you write in Facebook. And you can leave and delete all your history when you do.
Now, whether or not these deletions really remove all trace of the information, photos, etc... you have accumulated I don't know, but they are removed from the public view. Couldn't you say the exact same thing you said above about Yahoo! or MySpace? No one really knows what happens when you 'delete' something on a website. Its probably archived somewhere. Who knows? Who cares? (I know you seem to, so that was a rhetorical question...) ...Bill! --- In [email protected], Merle Lester <merlewiitpom@...> wrote: > > > >  B...good for you...do you realise that you cannot undo what you write in > facebook..and you can never leave facebook...it is there for eternity..... it > is a very very public space for all to see including employers......that is > my concern..and many folk treat it as their altar ego..being someone they are > not...merle > > >  > I use Facebook to keep in touch with Family and friends. I live in New > Orleans, I have a son in Evansville Indiana, another son in San Antonio > Texas, 2 sisters near Cleveland Ohio, another sister in New Port Richie > Florida, Aunts, Uncles, nieces and nephews all over the United States and > friends who are in Portland Oregon, Abuquerque, and all over the east > coast. We all post comments, share discoveries and update each other > daily. My daughter-in-law posts several times a day.  I like it. >  B > > Find what makes your heart singâ¦and do it! > > > > > ________________________________ > From: Joe <desert_woodworker@...> > To: [email protected] > Sent: Tue, October 2, 2012 1:58:10 PM > Subject: [Zen] Re: Diamond sutra > >  > Merle, > > Dunno, I just think of it as something for kids.
