For those who understand Action-and-Re-Action in Physics/Mechanics, it is funny to us when people (used to) ask how a rocket could possibly work in a vacuum, "When there is nothing to push against." They were thinking of propeller-planes, and didn't yet have a feeling for action-reaction of jets, nor rockets. Well, developing the desire to Awaken sometimes takes "something to push against" (it's called developing the Bodhi-Mind, I think). You've got to be DIS-satisfied with something, to look elsewhere.
