Edgar,

The picture is very, very large, and certainly includes the risky actions taken
by others to shield and shelter Jews. I think there's nothing "feel-good" nor
aphoristic in what Mike says, and what Merle reiterates and gives good counsel
about.

"Correct language" goes only as far as the person behind it and the person in
front of it. A teacher's "Kwatz!" expresses something, but only if the
student's small mind is ready to dissolve to dust and reveal the true sky.

"Correct language" goes only so far: it does not reveal emptiness.

"Correct language" goes only so far: it describes only the describable.

Correct language applies to the Relative, Edgar.

Obsession with correct language is what gave the world the nuclear bomb(s)
(fissile and fusionable). Useful!, for planetary protection from asteroids,
someday, but also proven deadly.

"Correct language" is needed in the craft of Philosophy, as well as Science.

"Correct language" is not needed in Art: Skilful Language is, there.

When we communicate, the correct language is the language that gets the job
done. It's OK to leave doubts: the doubts are quickly filled in by the
hearer's own perspicacity. "Correct" or not, the fill-ins are the hearer's
OWN. This is called the poetry of speech.

There is *NO* "Correct language".

There is always Appropriate Language, and if it does not come to you, do not
search for it; and for goodness sake, do not fall back on a formula.

"Correct" is a relative term, old Relative! Drop it.

In a Zen forum, "Correct" is so "Yesterday": like Antiquities.

Except where it comes to Practice! ;-)
