It's documented that the Buddha's first meal to break his fast from his 
fruitless ascetic practice and with which to begin his 'middle-way' days 
practice was to accept milk from the passing milk-maid, Sujata.

(Granted, it may have come from cows' udders).

Otherwise, we might all be Zoroastrians.
