Put it into practice in your own sangha, and run with it.  If it has life, it 
will stick, persist, percolate, penetrate, and recreate in the halls of 
perpetuity.  Your students will know whereof you speak, and maybe we will, by 
then, too.  Don't hesitate.

I.e., throw it against the wall: does it stick?

Like that.

Do the experiment.
