i listened to john daido loori roshi... i became aware that the ink drop is one drop 2 drops it becomes a dragon..then later one drop is a dragon...this koan (am i correct in saying this) was absolutely a treat...joe listen to it..he talks about painting.... i don't believe i am that far off the track...john points out doubt is a big factor and always retain this..and remain your own teacher in the end...i think i understood it as thus...thank you for your patience, especially joe and mike...i am learning...we will see were this leads me... i am surely at the cross roads and the road i take from this day forth may it lead me well.... merle
