Merle,
Philosophers, my ass. That's nonsense. Nobody among movie-goers knows what a
Philosopher is.
They think it's that sawed-off pointy-eared alien in Star Wars, I forget it's
name.
"My" movie was Kubrick's/Clarke's 2001: I was too old for that Star Wars
kid-stuff when it came out, in those successive belches. Gaa-ack. ;-)
Only ignorant slaves give Hollywood actors even the time of day, except where
it comes to their craft.
One in a hundred might be OK, otherwise, though, I dunno. I'd like to meet
that One.
They are not Philosophers; but I'm afraid they think they are Politicians. And
they may think that we ought to care what they think, from Hollywood. I have
never done so. To me, they are ball-players, and I don't care what
ball-players think, either ...because they don't think. Nor practice. Except
hitting and pitching.
I practice hitting and pitching *AND* base-running. But I ALSO practice Zen.
Doesn't that make me superior, in *every* WAY? ;-)
Merle?
