Steve, On v2rc1 this feature is possible  for "node1 or node2 can be
master" cluster type configuration mode:

1-There is a button to force failover to other node on "Setting::Cluster"
section, press on node1, node2 will be master.
2-Without make changes on cluster, upgrade on node1, with apt-get.
3-Now press force failover button on node2, with this node1 will return to
be master
4-And upgrade on node2 with apt-get

Remember don't make changes on both nodes meanwhile you are executing this
steps.
