Hi, James.

You did not create a virtual interface. I think you have created a vlan,
that is the reason you can not select it as virtual ip for the cluster.

Best regards.

I've just install Zen Load Balancer on two nodes and I'm trying to setup
clustering. I see someone has already asked this question in the
archives, but I do not seem to have access to view it for some reason,
even when logged into sourceforge.

I've watched the video located here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bleU7B8hAJQ

I set up a virtual nic on one of the hosts. Two issues.
1) I can't ping the virtual IP, yet it looks fine and correct as far as
I can tell.
2) The video says the virtual interface will be something like "eth0:1",
but on mine it's "eth0.1". I assume that's fine.

Looking at clustering, the drop down box for "Virtual IP for Cluster" is
empty.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
James
