Haha, yeah they would.

Yeah I thought about pulling the pictures in but I want to use cacti with thold
so that I can alert on certain events. For now I think I will just do a basic
snmpd install and at least show bandwidth and other basic stats. BUT, it would
be nice to get all the other information since I am competing against F5 in our
old enviorment, we went opensource with our deployment in the cloud to reduce
costs.

Thanks Rob,

Well that was kind of not of any concern to me, since the backend servers
(Munin stats) are "in more detail" from munin. I'e I can see ALL the stats of
the backend servers. We also have every node checking every other nodes
services and reporting those.

We have somewhat of a custom (implementation here).

If you really want to view the graphs in say a "stats over view of your cluster
to admins" .... You could allways just link...

But :) we should hide this message tho from the security consultants as they
would bitch slap me for saying that :) after all the IT Pros Stab me first! But
you get my point :P

Hahahaha!

Rob were you able to pull in data for farm connections or member status by
chance?

It's effectively a deb box :), infact I have good results with Stock Deb6
(@ovh) and then adding the apt source.

Just ssh into it and install your fav SNMP. I have Munin running on my LBs
which is whats on the rest of my backend servers. I'm sure in "doubling up
load" here, but I like my pretty graphs all tother!!

Regards,

Robert

I'm looking to pull in SNMP to zen. I was curious as to how/where you guys are
getting the data for your graphs and if there is a way for me to retrieve it
via SNMP.
