I have a farm that sustains around 2K concurrent https connections. The farm is
setup as a tcp type (port 443, round robin, with persistence) and the traffic
enters one eth adaptor and exits the other. I have noticed that the overall
traffic through this farm is around 3Mb/s which isn't high for 1G adaptors.

We're starting to notice that that farm has slow performance causing delays in
its connections when other farms (http for example) using the same ip and
method just a different port will be quite fast when the other is slow. It
seems that the LB does not like to preform 2K connections in one farm. It's not
the hardware since the other farms are un effected but they have less
concurrent connections while the main farm is affected.

Any thoughts?
