Hi. I've defined a farm to balance an web server with these specifications: - Profile: tcp - public IP address listening for requests on port 80 - 2 backend servers with private IP address listening also on port 80 - Algorithm: Hash - NOT enabled client IP address persistence * I suppose then "max number of clients memorized" (2049) and "client time" (60sec) parameters are just ignored - Frecuency to check resurrected backends: 10sec - FarmGuardian activated with following parameters: Check every: 12sec Command: check_tcp -H HOST -p PORT -t 5 Initially only one backend server is available, cause the other is powered-off With this definition and this status... 1) the backend status shows BOTH servers on GREEN * although in the FarmGuardian log the server up is appears with no status ("Backend status 0:") and the server down appears with status down ("Backend status 1: fgDOWN") 2) AFTER first access (succesfully, cause one backend server is up) to the balanced service, backend status of the farm appears now correctly * backend server 0 up (GREEN) and backend server 1 down (RED) * BUT the FarmGuardian's logs continue to show the same status (fgDOWN for backend server 1) 3) some minutes after the first access, the backend status shows "Clients=1" (on Real Server Status) and "active clients=1" (on Client sessions status) * BUT the detailed Client sessions status is EMPTY * The client time (on persistence client IP address) is 60sec...but supposedly is ignored cause "enable client IP persistence" is not marked. Anyway I've waited several minutes after the first service access before access the backend status page. * ONLY restarting the farm causes the counters to be flushed/zeroed Regards. --
