Being st...d here but is the any information on how to setup zlb for exchange
2013 where zlb is providing the same service(s) for both internal and external
clients while it sits on the internal network...
In reading past posts it appears that a configuration would look as follows:
the following will assume zlb = a pair of clustered zlb's
a zlb with 2 physical interfaces (one internal, one external)
two vip addresses (one on the internal nic and one on the external nic)
create farm services on the internal vip using standard tcp using internal real
servers, do not use persistent ip
create duplicate farm services on the external vip except use L4xNAT with the
same real servers as those for the internal services, do not use persistent ip
point the gateway of the zlb to external gateway (not the internal)
make the gateway of the real servers point to the internal vip of the zlb
to allow the real servers access to the internet apply custom iptables rules to
the zlb
It would be really helpful if there was a wiki how to on this scenario.
