Hello ZenAdmins,

We are using Zen LB v3.0.3 opensource in a 2 node cluster. Due to heavy
load in the application traffic, we want to isolate the cluster traffic in
a separate ethernet interface (eth1). For achieving this setup, we
provisioned a Virtual NIC in both the VM servers and configured it as eth1
interface.

The IP addresses for the interfaces are as listed below:
eth0 : 192.168.1.2 (LB1 Mgmt IP)
eth1 : 192.168.1.6 (LB1)

eth0 : 192.168.1.3 (LB2 Mgmt IP)
eth1 : 192.168.1.7 (LB2)

eth0:1 : 192.168.1.5 (Farm IP for appln loadbalancing)
eth1:1 : 192.168.1.8 (For cluster)

Whenever, I try to configure the cluster in "eth1:1" interface the IP
addresses of LB2 (192.168.1.3 & 192.168.1.7) goes down. However, I can
configure the cluster in "eth0:1" interface.

Any idea if the cluster setup configuration can be achieved using "eth1:1"
interface?

Thanks
Sathish
