Hi,
I'm looking for a solution that will allow me to forward end
user IPs from traffic coming through a CDNetworks DNA application
delivery network.
The source IP on the incoming traffic is that of the
CDNetworks endpoint connecting to my load balancer, but I need to
extract the end user IP from inside the TCP Options Header (specifically
option kind 0x22) and place it into an X-Forwarded-For or X-Real-IP
header that I can pass on to our internal servers.
This is something
available on some of the high-end load balancers and app delivery
systems such as Citrix NetScaler [1] and F5 BigIP [2].
Any help would
be greatly appreciated - we're happy to develop something in-house if
the technical capability is there bit the implementation is missing.
Thanks
Jim
