Within Hyper-v machines in Windows Server 2008 r2 and 2012, you can add a
network hardware device called a Legacy Network adapter. Looks like it wad just
removed for support in Hyper-v in Windows Server 2012 R2.

"... Note IDE drives and legacy network adapter support has been removed ..."
I would suggest configuring them on an older server to get them initially
configured and then transferring them if you need.
