I've got a lot of devices in my networks, and most of them were not picked up by Zenoss's automated system. I have been going through them, and adjusting the firewall settings to make sure that the snmp ports are allowed through from the machine that is running Zenoss. It seems to connect to the SNMPD just fine, because on machine where it's not running it gives me an error of "no snmp found on" and refuses to create teh device.
When it's no a machine where snmp is running, then it allows it just fine.

Are there other ports that need to be punched through?
Does connection relationship tracking need to be enabled? (I would think that NSMP and NSMPTRAP probably only talk on ports 161 and 162 respectively.)

Thanks for any input.
