I figured out how to do notifications, but I'm kind of confused. 1) How would I distingiush between an alert for an Ethernet Interface and a Serial Interface, i.e. is there away to put what Interface is the culprit in the e-mail or do we have to setup a different notification for every Interface.
2) Here is an example of a CLEAR message I got: "CLEAR: Atlanta Atlanta Utilization 75 perc threshold of 48000.0 exceeded: current value 49371.77 at 2006/06/16 11:03:96.194" Uhm...49371.77 is greater then 48000.0 so why is this "cleared"? And why does it say "Atlanta Atlanta" (this happens with all of the notifications I'm getting) 3) The "Delay" option when setting up notifications, what exactly does that do? If I set it to 5 does the threshold have to fail 5 straight pollings? Thanks, --Dennis On Fri, 16 Jun 2006 10:44:48 -0500, Dennis B.
