Another place to look is the Zope error log:

   http://localhost:8080/manage

Where localhost:8080 is the host/port of Zenoss.  Navigate to "error_log".

We were able to work around the problem. Here's a reference to the patch, which 
has been committed.

Since you are still having the problem, something else is going on here. Can you look for errors in $ZENHOME/log/event.log?
