Actually only one question is about the Virtual Appliance. I have installed mysql-devel on the Virtual Appliance and am hoping to upgrade it to zenoss-0.22.1, but in order to to that I need the password for the Zenoss Events Database. Is it possible to do this, and if so can someone help me out with the username/password for that database?
Also, can someone explain to me how the -1 severity works? Does this just increment gradually, and if so what makes it increment (for the ping status, etc.). Finally, can someone help me out with the zPingInterfaceName property? I enter "Dialer1" in the box for a router, but the Dialer1 IP Address doesn't seem to get pinged.
