I've installed version 0.22, and for the most part, I
think the application is wonderful. However, I have
had some problems trying to get stats, and configuring
alerting. After spending several days researching
online, I finally broke down and decided to join the
mailing list. At present, I have the following issues
(Any help would be greatly appreciated):
1) When attempting to configure an "Alerting Rule",
the program allows me to create a rule, but not modify
it. When I click on the newly created link for that
rule, I get the following output:
"Site Error
An error was encountered while publishing this
resource.
Error Type: IndexError
Error Value: list index out of range

2) When trying to import MIBs with the directions
listed in the Zenoss Admin PDF, I'm getting the
following types of errors:
"[EMAIL PROTECTED] site]$ /usr/local/zenoss/bin/zenmib
run CISCO-AAA-CLIENT-MIB.my
INFO:zen.zenmib:Skipping file
/usr/local/zenoss/share/mibs/irtf/IRTF-NMRG-SMING-TYPES
INFO:zen.zenmib:Skipping file
/usr/local/zenoss/share/mibs/irtf/IRTF-NMRG-SMING
INFO:zen.zenmib:Skipping file
/usr/local/zenoss/share/mibs/irtf/IRTF-NMRG-SMING-EXTENSIONS
INFO:zen.zenmib:Unable to find a file providing the
MIB CISCO-SMI
ERROR:zen.zenmib:Failed to load mib:
CISCO-AAA-CLIENT-MIB.my
[EMAIL PROTECTED] site]$"
3) I am unable to get any graphs under "Perf" for any
of my devices. (Note: I thought this might be linked
to a need for more current MIBs, but I cannot figure
out why the program won't let me install new ones).
4) My 7507 and 7206 routers will not show any
interfaces. (Once again, I thought this might be
MIB-related).
One additional question I had, is whether you have to
manually specify not to monitor interfaces which are
down administratively. Is this the case, or will
Zenoss just skip over them?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Sincerely,
David J. Guth
