You just have to talk like a browser. Type "GET /" and then return a
few times.

That's true for apache as well, though. Of course, when I telnet to zope it
times out and returns me to the local command line. When I telnet to apache
it just sits there.
I think I'll try rebuilding tomorrow and hope I'm able to move it easier
next time around.

What happens when you telnet to 80 (if that's still your Zope port)?
