under ESX). Never seen the problem though. Maybe try the vmware
list... (or even rpath that's what we used to build the appliance). Let

A search of the VMware forums I found this post

Basically I had to issue this command after extracting the zip file
otherwise the virtual appliance won't boot.
chmod 754 zenoss-1.0.0-x86.vmx
Can you set the permissions properly on that file before you zip it up
for distribution?
