Not the interface name but the interface _type_ name. No need to export to the file system.

Copy the ethernet template and rename it the name of your serial
interface type (most likely one has been created that has blank data
sources, graphs, etc).

hi,
I am trying to monitor a hardware VPN concentrator. Nortel
Contivity 1740. Now the problem is that all the Fast Ethernet
intercace traffic is being graphed correctly. But the Traffic at
serial interface is not bein graphed automatically. The interface
is being dispalyed as

      LMCSYNC1
There is not default template for this interface.
So how can i create a graphing template for this interface so as to
show the interface traffic. ??
thanks
