I got it work work. The install was failing after trying to add the tables to mysql.
I installed from the tarball. In the Zenoss source install guide http://www.zenoss.com/docs/installsrc, you need to add a step to create the mysql user and the permissions. I think it was in the 1.0 docs (I found it somewhere when I did a 1.0 install), but is missing now. I couldn't find it in the docs, wiki, or admin guide. Hi Mike, I'm not sure any of us has tried to install with python 2.5 yet. It should work, but we have no experience with it. zeoctl and zopectl come from Zope.
