Hi Jesse,
What version of Zenoss are you running? I'll assume you are running
1.0. Forget all about that login stuff: if the About page tells you
that zenperfsnmp is running, everything is talking as it should.
I'll take a stab at the problem: it's important that your configured
cycle time and the expectations of the RRD files are the same.
You can do this by removing all the RRD files. If that's not acceptable
you can use the 'rrdtool tune' command to increase your RRD heartbeat
values. If this is a new installation, remove the RRD files.
If you are anxious to get this running well, modify the
Monitors/Performance/localhost collection cycles to be much shorter.
Then restart all of zenoss and remove the RRD files. I typically use 10
seconds (vs the default 300 seconds) for my testing.
$ zenoss restart
$ rm -rf $ZENHOME/perf
You should see graphs in 20 seconds, you should see values in a minute
or so.
