To get the processes to reload their config more quickly, just restart the process in question. In this case, zenstatus and zenprocess. It's very easy to do from the About page.

I added the service yesterday afternoon... So it's been at least 24

force zenoss to manually reread its configuration? Any other ideas?

Zenoss re-reads it's configuration by default every 20-30 minutes.
Things probably won't start showing up until after zenoss re-reads it's
configuration.

Hi,
I'm trying to monitor an apache instance as a service. I have a process httpd with regex httpd that shows up correctly. However, I also created a service named httpd with the following service keys: httpd, tcp_00080, tcp_00443, but this does not show up under the OS tab and coutn shows as zero... Is there something obvious I am
missing?
Thanks,

Zakir
