Hi Joseph, Yes, we are monitoring Solaris 8 and 9 with limited success. Both versions have built-in SNMP master agent (snmpdx) and subagents (snmpd, mdlogd etc) which provide very limited MIB OID for host performance information.

Since we have a large number of old legacy servers I am exploring various avenues to extract better quality info. One option currently working on is using net-snmp. However, this is easier said then done as I can only get the source code and compiling this on old OS is a challenge due to dependencies.
