Try this, I asked the same question previously and a user responded with
this to try.
It helped me correct a similar issue. Just replace the values with your
appropriate information.

Edit the file /etc/local/zenoss/etc/zenactions.conf

smtphost itlhzexch01.us.utstar.com
fromaddr [EMAIL PROTECTED]
zopeurl http://zenoss.utstar.com:8080

Subject: [zenoss-users] "localhost.localdomain" in Alert & Clear
messages

Hi,
I've changed the Zenoss system hostname, but my Alert & Clear messages
are
still showing "localhost.localdomain" in the links area. I've also
removed
the "localhost.localdomain" device and added it back using the IP as the
name, as suggested on a similar issue. However, the alerts are as
before:

Device: MYNODE
Component: RampartSvc
Severity: Critical
Time: 2006/12/07 13:22:41.998
Message:
Windows Service 'RampartSvc' is down
Event:
http://localhost.localdomain:8080/zport/dmd/ZenEventManager/viewEventFie
lds?evid=0ab0cbab34b1bc22ffffffd
Acknowledge:
http://localhost.localdomain:8080/zport/dmd/Events/manage_ackEvents?evid
=0ab0cbab34b1bc22ffffffd&zenScreenName=viewEvents
Delete:
http://localhost.localdomain:8080/zport/dmd/Events/manage_deleteEvents?e
vid=0ab0cbab34b1bc22ffffffd&zenScreenName=viewHistoryEvents
Device Events:
http://localhost.localdomain:8080/zport/dmd/Devices/Server/Windows/devic
es/MYNODE/viewEvents

These links therefore don't work. I can manually replace
"localhost.localdomain" w/ the actual IP and get the intended page.
Ideally, I'd like the links to contain the Zenoss IP.

Does anyone have ideas/suggestions on how to get these messages to
display
the correct addresses?

Thanks,
Derek.
