We have installed zenoss in freeBSD 6.2 without any problems and successfully
auto-discovered our servers. Now we are at the point where we need to setup
monitoring of windows services using the zenwin agent.

I have been able to install it and configure it too start automatically in
services.

>From what I can see in the zenwin logs, it is successfully talking to the
>zenoss service and can retrieve the list of /server/windows and poll them.

However I get a range of errors that include (from the zenwin logs)

zenwin.log

Code:

...
2007-03-04 23:07:18 WARNING zen.zenwin: skipping ZENWIN no wmi connection
2007-03-04 23:07:18 WARNING zen.zenwin: skipping OARS no wmi connection
...

zeneventlog.log

Code:

...
2007-03-04 23:07:07 WARNING zen.zeneventlog: skipping OARS has bad wmi state
2007-03-04 23:07:07 WARNING zen.zeneventlog: skipping ZENWIN has bad wmi state
...

zenwinmodeler.log

Code:

...
2007-03-04 23:07:11 WARNING zen.zenwinmodeler: skipping OARS has bad wmi state
2007-03-04 23:07:11 WARNING zen.zenwinmodeler: skipping ZENWIN has bad wmi state
...

Also I am receiving other issues when I run the daemons from the command line
including

Code:

...
WARNING:zen.zenwin:2 servers (ZENWIN, OARS) still collecting after 0 seconds,
giving up
...

Just curious if anyone has any idea what is going wrong? I have noticed that
there are a few people that have been getting bad wmi state errors and these
have somehow fixed themselves in a few hours, but this has not been the case
here.

I have also successfully connected via wbemtest to a number of test servers,
including the zenwin box and also a member server.

Both test servers have been setup with a local zenoss administrator account and
I have also created a zenoss domain account with membership in the built-in
administrators group.

Any help would be appreciated....
