With this email I'm hoping to help some people out who have had the same
issues as I did.
Issue graphing 2 simlar devices/same oid
1- Graphing 2 similar devices in one graph ( Example 2 netapps FAS940c)
There is no way to do this unless you create a template in the reports
section.
Now, I'm pretty new to html/xml as I've never had the desire to create
websites.
1st step
1- http://(hostname):8080/zport/dmd/Reports/manage
- Far right of page you will see drop down window, click on it and
navigate to Report, then click add.
2-Click on report that you created.
3- Remove the test contents of the report and add this template
attached.
4- once you did that you will have to go through attached example and
replace the Zenoss Server Host name, device paths, and .rrd entries with
yours.
But in doing this you can compare 2 devices or more per graph using the
same oid. Also you will have the beautiful zoomin and zoom out functions
and hourly/daily/weekly/monthly options. :)
These are the OID's I'm graphing per netapp
MiscNfsOpsLow 1.3.6.1.4.1.789.1.2.2.6.0
miscLowDiskReadBytes 1.3.6.1.4.1.789.1.2.2.16.0
miscLowDiskWriteBytes 1.3.6.1.4.1.789.1.2.2.18.0
miscLowNetRcvdBytes 1.3.6.1.4.1.789.1.2.2.12.0
miscLowNetSentBytes 1.3.6.1.4.1.789.1.2.2.14.0
when you see the html reference or in the example its a different .rrd
files don't get to scared.

Any questions just asked
Attached is the example and my screenshot.
For any experienced html/xml developers don't kill me on my format as
this is my first real html/xml file I have ever done :(
