Dan Kerr sent me this fix and it worked. A thousand thank you's as I was starting to really pull my hair out over this one.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Try this. It fixed my problem. Try to ping localhost, and if you don't get a reply from 127.0.0.1 then do the following: Vi /etc/hosts Ensure that only 1 entry exists for localhost Eg: 127.0.0.1 localhost then try again.
