Hmm... perhaps something else is listening on port 8080? You could check with "netstat -ntlp | grep 8080" and see if you get any output. Otherwise, perhaps localhost.localdomain is not resolving? Do you have a mail reader installed that you can check the "new mail in /var/spool/mail/root".
