Hi Ken,

Are you just looking on the forums?.. because I've seen some really good
responses in the newsgroup.

One from Noah Gift on 5/10/2007:
> There is a great book out on the subject that describes making a MIB
etc.

One from Chet Luther on 5/11/2007:

is done rather simply by copying > from your
existing MIBs. The way I've been exposing the data to SNMP managers is
to use the

NetSNMP's pass_persist exention

worked great for me.

In your post titled "Does anyone really care?" - Where you asked if
writing a plugin was the answer, I wrote on 5/14/2007:

via snmp. However, Chet Luther's

I'm wondering if you're not seeing these because you posted them on the
forum, and are not on the mailing list. The responses did not seem to
go to the forums... odd.

I'll cc this to your email address in case you're not on the list.

So is the lack of response to this because: 1) no one's done this
before, 2) it's not possible, or 3) the answer is so obvious and I'm
missing it?

Ken....
