FWIW, I decided the performance was so bad drastic measures had to be taken. I ended up installing a new CentOS 5 VM on the same ESX server and installed Zenoss from the RHEL5 RPM. The install was pretty easy and the performance so far is stellar.

Is anyone getting really poor performance from the ZC2 VMware appliance? I've got a big fat ESX server with nothing but this and one other VM on it and each click in the GUI takes 5-10 seconds to load, sometimes more. The virtual CPU has no load and there is plenty of spare memory. -- Psi webmaster (http://psi-im.org) im:[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://halr9000.com
