There is a problem with python 2.3 and zeneventlog. If you upgrade
to python 2.4.3 it will work. we have a patch for 2.0.1.

So it has to do something with the pyton? I Also use python 2.3.4
I cant find packages for RHEL 4 Update 4 to upgrade to 2.3.5
