Okay so I've spent 2 days installing zenoss on freebsd and I have come so very
close to getting it working.

All my zenoss services all start except for zensyslog.

When it tries to start I get a zensocket error stating it is unable to bind
(error 48).

Now I've tracked down that there is a process already on the system bound to
UDP 514, snmpd.

However part of the freebsd installation guide states that you have to add to
your rc.conf.

snmpd_enable="YES"
snmpd_flags="-a -p /var/run/snmpd.pid"

I am sure this is where my problem is.

So what should I do? disabled those lines and not start snmpd or just not run
zensyslog?
