I know I've seen this posted before, but darned if I can find it.
Is there a bug report/patch for the issue of windows services not being monitored on systems that are in sub groups of /Server/Windows?
For instance, I've installed the WMI zenpack for memory info etc from systems without SNMP Informant. I created a subgroup of /Server/Windows/NativePoll, and moved the servers I can't install Informant on to that group. Almost everything works great, but I only get IP alerts, I do not get alerts anymore on specific services, and event commands no longer trigger for those servers.
