I am trying to install snmp remotely. My approach was as mentioned below. shared the i386 and answer file named snmp.txt that contains [NetOptionalComponents] SNMP = 1
in a machine let it have the ip : 151.8.18.17 with folder name "share" then in the machine where i have to install snmp i edited the registry setting as HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\ CurrentVersion\Sourcepath = \\151.8.18.17\share\i386 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows \CurrentVersion\Setup\Sourcepath = \\151.8.18.17\share\ and called sysocmgr /i:%windir%\inf\sysoc.inf /u:\\151.8.18.17\share\snmp.txt /q in command prompt but its again asking to point to i386.. Its not automatically fetching the shared folder. Can anyone help me to resolve this issue..
