Are you trying to upgrade or is this a fresh install? For 2.2 the stack installers will have all your dependencies (MySQL, Zope, Python, Zenoss) and should be the easiest way to do a new install. We haven't tested Scientific Linux, but if it's close to RedHat and CentOS the stack installer should work. If you get a chance, back up your existing install and try out the new one and let us know how it goes.

We use Scientific Linux 5.1 to run Zenoss. It's a very slightly modified RedHat EL 5.1 ... We've been using RHEL5.x RPMs for installs... Now I see there is also a CENTOS RPM.

Which would be better to use?
