Zenoss 2.2 supports installation and use of both old-style and the new python egg packaged ZenPacks. All newly created ZenPacks are created in the new style. jmp242 wrote: > > What about some that there are new versions of, can we keep using the "old" > ones that we have configured with data already collected? > You can continue to use old-style ZenPacks with Zenoss 2.2 and any 2.2.X releases. Zenoss 2.3 will probably not support the older style ZenPacks however. Upgrading from the pre-2.2 core ZenPacks to the new egg-packaged core ZenPacks should not affect your current data and configuration. All performance templates, data sources, daemons, etc should continue to function the same as before the upgrade. -jason -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=20084#20084 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
