The release notes for 2.2 talk about a Python collector plugin. And I see what looks like a base class for python data collectors in DataCollector/PythonClient.py. But the udpated docs do not really mention it at all and there is nothing in plugins/zenoss/python.
I'm somewhat interested in this because I was about to go off and build a bunch of external programs to collect data that I was going to connect via the command collector. They happen to be all small python clients of services i need to monitor. Is this a feature that is complete in 2.2.0 or something slated for a future release?
