This version still doesn't say about the child/parent dependencies. Many users are waiting for this feature to be added. I'm wondering when it will be available.
If you are talking about parent/child like in nagios zenoss has had this since its original release. Check out section 11.1 of the admin guide (which is a little vague). Basically the route table from you zenping device to monitored devices needs to be complete. We don't have a great way to visualize this today though. If you look in the zenping log file you will see the error
