Has anyone already built a report that would show for a given day how many email alerts were sent because of a match from rule: Networking Dept how many email alerts were sent because of a match from rule: Windows Dept how many email alerts were sent because a match from rule: Unix Dept etc.
Today, I am pulling the details out of $ZENHOME/log/zenactions.log because our set of alerting rules identifies departments in the subject of the email, or in the recipient address. e.g. [code] 2008-05-30 14:53:33 INFO zen.ZenActions: sent email:[zenoss] radius-srv IP Service http is down to:['[EMAIL PROTECTED]'] [code] would count as one for the Windows department. If no one has a report like this already built, I will work out my own report, and post it back to the list once I get it working. Thanks in advance.
