I am running Zenoss 2.2.0. I am trying to configure notifications in such a way that it should be sent to particular group of users(/Zenusers/Grp_name) for particular group of devices(/Groups/grp_name). For this: I create few users(a,b,c) ->then create a group ->add users(a,b,c) to this group ->then add device group(/Groups/grp_name1)to this group's "administered objects" ->Add Alerting rule I create few more users(x,y,z) ->then add another group ->add users(x,y,z) to this group ->then add device group(/Groups/grp_name2) to this group's "administered Objects" ->Add Alerting rule But whenever a event occurs the e-mail goes to all the users in both groups(grp_name1 & grp_name2) disrespecting the "administered objects" field totally.
