Hi,
   I'm having a similar problem. I'm using, zenoss 2.2.3 clean stack installed 
on Ubuntu 8.0.4

I'm trying to load the mib: SNMPv2-SMI:

$ zenmib run -v10 SNMPv2-SMI.mib

It seems to have loaded, but I seen only 16 oid's (supposed to be 34 oids)

On closer look:

$ smidump -fpython  "SNMPv2-SMI.mib"

SNMPv2-SMI.mib:196: range limit exceeds underlying basetype

SNMPv2-SMI.mib:202: range limit exceeds underlying basetype
SNMPv2-SMI.mib:202: range limits must be `lower-bound .. upper-bound'
SNMPv2-SMI.mib:207: range limit exceeds underlying basetype
SNMPv2-SMI.mib:207: range limits must be `lower-bound .. upper-bound'
SNMPv2-SMI.mib:217: range limits must be `lower-bound .. upper-bound'
smidump: module `SNMPv2-SMI.mib' contains errors, expect flawed output

How do I solve these errors? SNMP-v2-SMI seems to be dependent mib for most of 
othe mibs and even if there were no errors, the loaded mib would show oid's and 
nodes as 0.

- I did make a symlink for share and libexec in $ZENHOME
