I am trying to do the same thing with Windows Server event viewer events. Here is what I get - in the event summary field all I get is "snmp trap [and a ton of numbers]". If I click on details, I see if the Field column a ton of numbers and then I see the data I want to see in the Summary in the Value column. Can you walk me through the exact steps to get the Value data into the Summary field, so when emails alerts arrive I can see what the error actually was?
