Do you see the message "missing RRD file" in the graph itself? Because this usually indicates that there has not yet been a valid collection of RRD data. So my guess would be that you don't have the correct OID in your template.
Sometimes there is a trailing 0. Try to do a SNMP get of the oid on the CLI and look if it returns a correct value. Then after a cycle you'll probably see your graph.
