Well, it's more complicated than that. I obviously haven't tried 1) turning off all Windows service monitoring but I have tried 2) both by turning off all monitoring for a service across all servers and by turning off monitoring a specific service on some servers while turning it on for other servers. This works if it is how I set it up initially.
