Layer 2 mapping capabilities have not been added to the 2.3 release.
The focus of this release was stabilizing the product and making sure
all the features we currently have work as well as they should (WMI
and JMX are the main benefactors). Internally we were adding a lot of
new development team members (5 developers, 3 QA, 1 build engineer and
1 doc writer) over the last 6 months (more than doubling the previous
size) and the next release be more ambitious feature-wise. Since 2.2
was released in May we closed several hundred tickets and added an
additional platform to the 2.3 release (OSX). So far the beta is
looking good and we expect to release next month.
